Let the wine of love flow through your veins.  — Rumi

CHANTING RUMI — THE WINE OF LOVE WORKSHOP:  In this workshop poet, musician, and Rumi translator Haleh Liza will induct us into the mystical realm of Rumi's poetry through new translations as well as chants in the original Persian, which we sing together.  After gentle exercises to open the body and voice, we will enter the mystical realm of Rumi's poems through our bodies as we physically sense the wonder of Rumi's words in Persian---the rhythm, rhyme, and transcendent meanings---resonating through us. No previous singing experience necessary. Limit 20 people. Sign up now. Your tuition is $45.00 which supports the poets. Free for Youth 18 and under. A sliding scale is available if you need it.
